Growing up, I had a variety of critters, including cats, dogs, turtles, fish, hamsters, gerbils, mice, and lizards. I am a true animal lover!

 

I've spent my entire life finding any reason to be near animals. At age 11, I even volunteered at the Wildlife Refuge Center. One of my first jobs was at a pet store.

 

I have volunteered time creating a humane education program ("According to Boomer") for children to teach overpopulation prevention, as well as giving the kids the tools they need to safely interact with animals.
